Take two: I had started writing earlier today, and was feeling monumentally different, but was interrupted by Kim, and we had a wonderful, wonderful afternoon together, so I kind of put this off for a bit... I think I started out before by mentioning that I am going away for a week... Well, not really away, but away from this machine. fishy and I are house-sitting for Kat for a week, and although he lives about a five minute walk away from me, I think I will not come back here, unless I desperately have to. I am looking forward to this a great deal, you know, having resbonsibilities for a change... I have two living creatures whom I have to look after, not to mention some plants... It will be nice living with fishy for a week, too, since I have not lived with anybody from my generation, even, for over five years. Still, though, there is a little paranoid part of me that says he is only there to supervise my cat-feeding... My house-sitting resume is sparse, but I do run an entire floor of my house here, including a fridge. I am good. Anyhow, while there, I think my main goal will be to get my spiffy new website up and running, and with fishy in the house, it will be all the more easier (he is a coding guru, or something...) It will be nice, because I am starting to feel that I am just filling up space here, not saying much of anything. I am anticipating my new interface, a log which will allow my updates to be more concise and frequent. And hopefully, just bring back a passion for web-writing, something, I think, Diaryland has sucked out of me. All the better for me, and for you, if you enjoy my writing...
